Bolonia

0

Bologna is the lively historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Its Piazza Maggiore is an extensive colonnaded square lined with arcaded colonnades, cafes and medieval and Renaissance structures, such as the Town Hall, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica of San Petronio. Among the city’s many medieval towers are the two towers, the leaning Asinello and the Garisenda.

What to Expect

The lands of the province of Bologna are beautiful and varied.
A land that extends in the plain, along the rivers Reno and Panaro; between hills and mountains between the ridges of the Santerno and Senio, to the east and between the rivers Reno, Panaro and Dardagna, to the west.

Itinerary

Route 1Baelo Claudia

Next to the beach of Bolonia we have the remains of a Roman city called Baelo Claudia.

It was built in the second century B.C., and is currently considered a National Historic Monument.

We will walk among Roman villas, visit the forum, the temples dedicated to Juno, Minerva, Isis, and Jupiter. We will visit the Market and the Theater.

Baelo Claudia also has a visitor center and a very interesting museum.

Route 2Bolonia Beach

This beach is located in the municipality of Tarifa, in front of the Moroccan city of Tangier.

It is considered the most beautiful beach in Spain. It has an extension of approximately 4 kilometers of fine white sand. It is surrounded by impressive dunes, which reach 30 meters high.

It is a wonder to walk along this beach and end up climbing the dunes to reach the top, where we will enjoy breathtaking views.
